Soul is an indie band from the Savannah, GA and Beaufort, SC area.  We're just a couple of musicians who love God more than music and love music more than any other form of artistic expression.  We try our best not to be churchy and religious...just real.  And we don't aim to sing hype and pretty music...just pure, raw truth.  In our music, we talk to God in expectation that God will talk back.  What we share comes from the places that God has shown Himself so real and powerful to us...the places where we have fallen short, but God's mercy has made up the difference...the places where we may have given up on God, but God's not given up on us.  If you get nothing else out of hearing us, we hope you get one thing...a glimpse of a faithfulness strong enough to bring faith to a faithless man and a love powerful enough to overcome the unloved, unloving and unlovable...a glimpse of God

 “The things I do” is a collection of 8 original songs with lyrics stemming from some of our most intense personal experiences and thoughts in life.  You may think—”What do the experiences of your lives have to do with God?” Our answer is simple, “what don’t they have to do with God?!”  Everything about us and our lives is God’s concern.  If He can’t get into the details of our lives and help us live, then we’re missing it.  

It is our prayer that God will use this CD as an avenue to help us all unlock those secret places of our hearts before God so that He can show us mercy and cleanse our souls…
